The exciting new book "A Snapshot in Time" details religious, social and educational activities with many photographs illustrating the text. Parish register entries are included together with official information highlighting the village in the years before it was changed for ever by the First World War. Also included is an illustrated history of the bells of St. Mary's church to tie in with the current Bells Restoration Appeal. This book has been given an "Awards for all  Lottery Grant".
