& District Local History Society offers a comprehensive Research Service
covering a range of research subjects including Family and Local History.
Our
Archives hold a wide variety of material, which include parish and nonconformist
registers, private collection material, census records, Bromyard’s local
newspapers and a large collection of photographs.

Charges
Our charge of £8 per hour for commissioned
research, i.e. research you ask our experts to conduct for you, is
very reasonable
Nearly all our commissioned work carried out either by a retired
professional or by someone who has spent most of life's spare time
on this work. The charge is usually payable at the conclusion of the
research, but if a job promises or proves to be a long one, progress
payments will be required. For overseas customers payment can be
made by PayPal.
