Heritage Film Evening – Classic days of motoring
Step back to an era when every car came with a full toolkit, running boards, gleaming chrome bumpers, and a picnic hamper strapped to the rack. It was a time when RAC and AA patrolmen saluted passing motorists, and people dressed up simply to go into town.
Notice how quiet the roads were, with so few signs, and watch for Coventry Cathedral before the Second World War.
