HOBS has a broad remit; we have books available by BDLHS members as well as a very wide range of second hand history books on a variety of historical subjects and eras. Further than this, we are proud to offer an eclectic collection of locally made artefacts in many materials and a range of prices. We have beautiful handmade silver jewellery; elegant soft furnishings; locally sourced honey from Herefordshire bees; textiles; hand turned wooden artefacts; and some fascinating steam punk metal candle and bottle holders. This is just touching the surface of what is available, but it does illustrate our ethos which is to provide a showcase in the centre of Bromyard to promote the History Society, of which we are part, and also offer a window in the town for so many of the incredibly talented artisans in the Bromyard area.
