At the Local History Centre:
- Greet visitors, manage the shop, and answer inquiries.
- Assist researchers in the Research Room.
- Maintain the library and archives.
- Digitize archival materials.
- Design and create window displays.
- help with annual exhibitions.
- Contribute to the website and publications.
At History on Broad Street (HOBS):
- Engage with the public and sell merchandise.
- Source and replenish stock from local artisans.
- Design and create window displays.
Other opportunities:
- Lead history walks.
- Assist with finance and administration.
- Serve on the Society’s committee.
The Society offers training and support for all volunteers.
Please contact: info@bromyardhistorysociety.org.uk or call in at either of the BDLHS venues, and we will be happy to give you more information and offer a “taster” session.
