On arriving at the Local & Family History Centre you will be welcomed at reception by one of our friendly volunteers who will show you into our Exhibition Room where, all year round, there will be a display of local photographs and other items from our extensive archives.  More on our current exhibition can be found here. The Society members on duty will be pleased to answer any enquiries which you may have.  The shop stocks local books, maps, postcards and many other items (many of the books are available from our online shop).
